Between the Caucasus and the Black Sea

September / October 2026

Caucasus Tour: September 25 - October 2, 2026
Tbilisi City Trip: October 2 - 4, 2026

General Information about the Trip

Mindful hiking, taking pauses, practicing yoga and meditation, and simply letting your soul unwind. Enjoy being together while also finding and savoring your quiet moments. All this and much more awaits you on the Georgia Adventure Tour.

The still largely untouched expanses of the Caucasus Mountains invite you to enjoy the abundance of nature and draw new strength from it. Step out of your daily routine and into a revitalizing week for body, mind, and soul.

The special thing about this round trip is that within a week, you will get to know different places, gain insight into the nature and culture of Georgia, and bring peace to your mind and body.
Additionally, a unique and unforgettable experience awaits you. You will have the opportunity (optional) to explore and enjoy the fabulous landscape on horseback.

The focus of the hiking tour is to arrive, unwind, breathe in the fresh mountain air, and experience the country in its diversity and authenticity.

This week is all about letting go, breathing deeply, and relaxing. We will take care of the rest!

Highlights

  • Stop & swim in the Black Sea

  • Visit natural hot springs

  • Tour: the old towns of Kutaisi & Mestia

  • Visit ancient mountain villages, monasteries & churches

  • Hear stories about Georgian customs by the fireplace

  • Yoga & meditation sessions in unforgettable locations

  • Horseback riding through the Caucasus (optinal & excl.)

Meditation, Yoga & Mindful Hiking

Meditation, yoga, mindfulness exercises, and conscious hiking in nature will bring you peace and a sense of unity and harmony.

The almost undiscovered mountain world of the Caucasus, the border between Europe and Asia, is the perfect place to connect with yourself and nature, inviting you to discover life from a new perspective.

We will also walk part of a daily hike in silence. This sharpens your senses and allows you to perceive nature in its fullness. Silence and walking help you follow and sort your thoughts, leading to more inner clarity and opening space for new ideas.

The yoga sessions are suitable for all levels, and no previous experience is necessary. The classes (from gentle to activating; styles: Hatha, Hatha Flow, Restorative & Yin Yoga) perfectly prepare you for the hikes and give you the necessary energy boost!

Certainly, the rejuvenating beauty of nature and the mindfulness practices will undoubtedly provide you with new inspiration and continue to enrich your daily life!

Weekly Schedule

Between the Caucasus and the Black Sea

The week is very varied! You have free time between the activities. All activities are optional and can be attended as you wish. The most important thing is to go with your feeling and do what feels good. If you want to experience Georgia in all its diversity, then the extended trip is certainly something for you. In the very worth-seeing capital, two more days of culture and magical moments await us!

Overview of the Weekly Schedule:

Region: Greater Caucasus Mountains

Upper Svaneti is a region rich in history and culture and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996. The Swanetians living there are a unique Georgian ethnic group with ancient tribal customs and their own language.

People and nature still live in harmony here. There is no trace of hustle and high tech. All you see are gigantic and partly snow-covered mountain peaks, bright sunshine, and starry nights that invite you to dream.

Tbilisi

The idyllic capital is built on rocks and surrounded by mountain ranges. It reflects the rich culture and history of the country. Alongside Christian Orthodox churches and oriental monuments, you find remnants of the Soviet Union paired with modern, abstract architecture. A cultural melting pot! Tbilisi means "place of warm springs."
You can immerse yourself in this ancient tradition in the famous oriental bath district. Tbilisi, as the locals lovingly call it, is definitely worth an (extended) trip and rounds off the adventure in an impressive way.
You will stay in a beautiful, centrally located city villa with a rooftop terrace.

Guesthouses & Hotels

We are mainly accommodated in traditional Georgian guesthouses, which bring you closer to the charm and traditions of the country in a special way. These are small, Georgian family businesses. In cities like Tbilisi and Kutaisi, we stay in hotels or in a boutique house.

Example: Shuan Guesthouse in Mazeri

The cozy and traditional Shuan Guesthouse is located at the foot of Ushba (a double peak reaching up to 4700 m) in Mazeri, a charming little village in the heart of the Greater Caucasus Mountains. Green meadows surrounded by snow-covered mountain peaks, waterfalls, mountain streams, mineral springs, and delicious homemade regional dishes make the stay particularly relaxing and unique. There are various room options, most of them with separate beds.

Anke Lenz

A few years ago, I visited Georgia for the first time. I fulfilled my dream of a multi-day horseback ride through the solitude of the high mountains. The diversity, authenticity, and warmth of the country deeply impressed me and captivated me. For me, the Caucasus offers the perfect place to find peace, distance from everyday life, practice yoga and meditation, and enjoy the wonder of nature and its rich culture.
Look forward to an inner and outer journey!
